Lindsey Appleyard | mixed media Artist
Can some paintings capture the idea of a painting without actually having any paint on them? There are unspoken "rules" about art that I would like to defy. Art in my opinion should be one area without any rules.
ben betts | Kinetic sound artist/musician
Channeling nature in sound can create and inspire. Vibrations, polyrhythms, pendulums, and paints interact allowing us to visualize harmony. Harnessing knowledge in all things musical, Ben is an expressively dynamic soloist. The essence of music inspires the art.
ANDREW DELANGE | mixed media, ink, digital
Andrew’s creativity is inspired by his search to find order in chaos. His works are grounded in principles of unity, symmetry and balance. They each stem from a single idea from which a multitude of allegorical associations grow from. He believes all people share the same fundamental essence and hopes that his artwork gives the viewer a glimpse of the underlying symbolic nature of consciousness we all share.
JORDAN YANOWITZ | Glass
Glass sculptures embodying trees, seashells, and jewelry. A master gaffer with the power of KABOOM! Jordan’s explosive personality is reflected in the electric limbs and undulating colors of his sculptures. He is deeply dedicated to his craft, and is very prolific.
GEORGIA MARUTYAN | MIXED MEDIA
Georgia Marutyan has the heart of a puppy coupled with the an extremely ignitable and curious personality. When she draws or paints, her hand is directly linked to her soul. She works swiftly and with few pauses akin to a stream of consciousness. And yet her art seems detailed and methodical. Her subject matter is frequently persona-based. She invents characters and creatures wearing strange outfits and emblems which tell imaginative and sometimes comical stories. But ask her what she was “trying” to make and she’ll say she doesn’t have a clue.
